(O.K. , O.K. - maybe not "here" quite yet...but it is on its way)
There is a glimpse of hope in this time of year with gray, cold days that seem like they will never end...
But alas, my tulips have decided to show their cute little faces!! YAHOOOO!!
Aren't they precious?!
Let me remind you that i seriously have never planted anything in my life. (well, maybe once for Primary when i was a sunbeam or something...didn't we plant a bean on a wet paper towel at one point?)
Anyway, i planted tulips and daffodils in the fall and even though you are told they will start to show their faces come spring...it really is a leap of faith to believe that they really will actually pop up out of the ground! It was such an exciting, refreshing feeling to walk by my front porch and casually look down and unexpectedly notice the startings of SPRING.
And I'm still looking forward to continuing my new planting fetish in another couple of months when i start planting vegetables in our garden for the first time as well.. (that is, with the kind mentoring of my mom-in-law!)
I'll keep you posted on my growing babies and also when i start on my garden!

That's awesome! Let me tell ya a secret...I love love love plants for some strange reason. I love being in a garden and doing all that stuff. It bums me out that I can't have a little garden out here. You know how that goes. lol
How fun! I wish there were signs of Spring here. We did get to 40 degrees today and had some thawing. That was so nice! Bring on the Spring!
