Ashton's treasure island

As you probably know, Ashton loves pirates. When i asked him for his preschool homework what he wants to be when he grows up, he said "a pirate." So, when we tried to think of ideas for his room...it kept coming back to a pirate-themed room. Even if he outgrows the obsessiveness in a couple of years, i think pirates are still a good solid theme for a boy for years to come.

Ashton requested the red jewel in the sword...

Once again, it turned out to be a masterpiece. Really, the pictures i took don't do it justice. And Ashton loves it...which is all that matters!!
ARRRRGGGHH me hearties!!!!

How fun! That's got to be such a bonus to having your own place...being able to do whatever you want with it. Those bath pictures of Seneka were so cute too. She's a doll!

Awesome! You make me want to do cool murals for our kids rooms when we get a house of our own too. That is sooo cool.

ha ha, funny, you are painting a boys room with a theme, and we were getting rid of one. Except ours was hideous dinosaurs. Your painter lady is much better than the one that did ours (it wasn't our choice, it was already that way when we moved in!)Lokks cute, Im sure Ahston loves it. Hope I get to see you when Im there in a couple of weeks! Tell them family we say hello! xoxo
